All of our food is grown by us, on our farm in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania.

We are small-scale, ecologically-minded and health-oriented.
This means:

Absolutely NO synthetic fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides

Low-till/low-impact cultivation

Soil protection through cover-cropping and mulching

Added organic matter through composting

Natural pest and disease management through crop rotation

Low plastic/low waste growing practices and packaging

Planting of flowers to support beneficial insects

Sequestration of carbon through planting trees, shrubs, herbaceous plants, and ground cover

Use of hand tools and selective mowing to reduce fossil fuels

Protection of local waterways and habitat through riparian buffer plantings

Mulching of annual and perennial crops to increase water retention, fungal activity and soil health

Minimal reliance on off-farm inputs like mined fertilizers

A longterm focus on transitioning from annual crops to a perennial, permanent agriculture, supplying fruit and nuts to our local community year round
